Artist Statement Many
times I have wondered if I have created my paintings or did my paintings create me. Each time I initiate a connection within
the dimension of conceptualization I tap into a spark that is purely divine in the silent realm of my soul. This spark inspires
my inner visions and desire to constantly create. When I finish a painting I savor the experience and then cannot wait to
see what the art muses have in store for me next. I know I do not create on my own and thus, the process of discovery is endless.
My style is constantly evolving in surprising ways. When I paint I feel as if I’m being
led by an invisible current and divine energy. The tools that I use acquire a life force of their own. I like using
captivating colors and brush strokes which create a subtle gravitational rhythm like a musical composition. Various blues
appear in many of my paintings even if you don’t see them. For me the color blue reflects peace and spirituality and
puts me in that realm. Peace and love is very important to me and more so in the times we live in. To me creating art is a
very deep and personal experience. It is opening myself to the deepest center within my soul in turn making me want to share
my art and vision in order to connect in a profound way with others.
I enjoy painting abstracts because it is a constantly evolving process of discovery, thus we can enter into a journey
of untold secrets of a brushstroke, shape, form, color, hue, gesture or rhythmical feeling within the mystical realm of life.
